Performance

Powering every trim is a turbocharged 1.2-liter 137-hp three-cylinder engine. The engine is attached to a six-speed automatic transmission and uses front-wheel drive. The EPA also estimates that the Trax gets an estimated 28 mpg in the city and 32 miles on the highway.

Technology

The redesigned Trax comes equipped with many new technologies. In the LS and 1RS, there's an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a Wi-Fi hotspot. And in the LT trim, an 11.0-inch infotainment touchscreen is standard. Other technologies include a six-speaker audio system and remote start.

Safety

As you adventure down the road, the redesigned Trax will keep you safe thanks to Chevy Safety Assist. This suite of safety features includes automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high beams. More advanced features like blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning and adaptive cruise control are optional.
